Willy Paul, famously known as Pozee, took to his Instagram to ask God to help him so that he never resorts to demeaning antics for content and that if it ever reached that point, he would rather die.

His statement comes at a time when celebrities are turning to cross-dressing as a way to remain relevant or to create clout for their projects.

One notorious culprit is former gospel artist Bahati; he has posted content several times in a dress, wigs, and sometimes even makeup. In a viral video that sparked controversy, Bahati was in a red dress in a skit with his wife. He called out haters, saying he dresses better than their women.

A few weeks after Bahati, another content creator, Wajesus, posted content in a yellow dress to chase clout. The release of these photos sparked various reactions from Kenyans. Some admirably complimented him, noting that despite being a man, he looks beautiful.

Embarambamba, a kisii gospel artist, has also resorted to wearing dresses and skirts in his videos to gain attention on social media. Despite his theatrics being over the top, his wearing of women's attire is where his fans draw the line.
