City lawyer Kennedy Rapudo, married to socialite Amber Ray, has shocked kenyans after court documents revealed he could afford to pay child support despite flaunting a luxurious lifestyle online.
According to leaked court documents, the advocate claims he cannot afford the ksh 30,000 monthly upkeep his baby momma is asking for, adding that the denial to see his son is causing stress on his health. He is currently involved in a bitter custody battle with the mother of his son.
"The Applicant suffers from a heart condition and high blood pressure, and the deliberate denial of custody of the minor consequently adds to the detriment of his health, " reads the court document.

The documents shared by the tea master on his telegram channel note that rapudo pays for the child's transportation, and adding the ksh 30000 would be a strain for him. Rapudo also wants the baby momma to be arrested for defying court orders regarding custody arrangement.
Last week, Rapudo shared on social media that he was denied access to his son on his birthday even though he had planned a lavish birthday at the house he shares with his wife, Amber Ray.
"Not all absent dads are deadbeats, but just because we are not deadbeats doesn't mean that our hearts are metallic. I was eagerly looking forward to celebrating my son's 8th birthday today! This would be the first long weekend to have him for a sleepover (after a lengthy court battle), and you should have felt the joy in our hearts. Unfortunately, the moment was "once again" robbed from us because he was a no-show." he posted
His statement about being unable to pay the desired monthly support comes barely a month after Rapudo and his wife shared a receipt of them shopping for items worth over kshs 150000.
