On December 10, 2022, Pastor Ezekiel Odero, opened the doors of the expansive 65-acre property owned by New Life Church which he established in Mavueni, Kilifi County, revealing plans for a self-sustaining community complete with various social facilities. A significant portion of the land has been used to build a massive church of the New Life Church.

Speaking to an NTV reporter in a past interview, Odero said the church sits on six and a half acres of land and has a capacity of over 6,000 people - each sitting on plastic chairs.

The property is also poised to feature a range of hotels, with one nearing completion, as well as malls and supermarkets. Plans are also underway to construct residential homes, with occupants enjoying access to an international school and university. The development will further comprise a hospital, rehabilitation center, cottages, and helipad to cater to the church's followers.
Pastor Ezekiel confirmed most of the congregants come from Nairobi, Tanzania, America, and worldwide. He went further to state that believers from Coast, are very few.
Regarding the massive turnout during his event at Kasarani Stadium, the pastor reiterated that the photographs were genuine and not doctored, emphasizing that his role is simply that of a messenger spreading the message of his faith.
Odero revealed that his calling to the ministry came after he was unable to continue with his university education due to a lack of funds. He acknowledged that his pastoral duties have cost him valuable time with his family, resulting in limited opportunities to spend time with his children.
