UBA Group has appointed Mary Mulili as the new Chief Executive Officer And Manging Director of UBA Bank Kenya, pending regulatory approval.
Before her appointment, Mulili served as the executive director at the Pan-African lender.
She takes over from Chike Isiuwe, who has been appointed to a new role under the UBA Group.
“With an extensive career spanning over two decades in the banking sector, Mary has served as Executive Director for UBA Kenya and pivotal executive and senior roles in other commercial banks with her expertise, and leadership, delivering comprehensive business advisory services and innovative solutions,” the UBA Group said on X.
Mulili boosts experience in the corporate, commercial, public, institutional banking, SME, retail, and digital banking sectors.

She holds an MBA in Finance, a degree in Education with a focus on Accounting and Economics, and a diploma in Business Management.
“She serves on the board of the Kenya Association of Women Business Owners (KAWBO) and is the Vice Chair at the International Chamber of Commerce Kenya’s Banking Commission.”
