Java has opened its first outlet in Voi, Taita Taveta County bringing its total number of outlets to 91 as it seeks to expand its market beyond Nairobi.
The new Java Express restaurant is located at the Total Energies service station and is expected to serve the tourist-heavy county and the residents of the transit town of Voi.
Further, the Branch is expected to create job opportunities and contribute to the town’s socio-economic development.
Speaking during the launch, Java House Africa Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Priscilla Gathungu stated that the outlet aims to remain accessible, especially in transit locations, where people travel for work and leisure.
The hospitality industry’s expansion is expected to accelerate in line with domestic travel demand.

Further, she said that customers are seeking convenient dining experiences that meet their dietary needs and provide access to their favorite establishments wherever they go.
According to Java House, industry stakeholders will need to be agile and customer-centric in order to satisfy this increased demand.
