Africa Leadership Magazine has named KCB Group Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Paul Russo the African Business Leader of the Year.

Since he assumed the role of CEO, Russo has been unwavering in his commitment to innovation and sustainability, driving socio-economic development across the region and inspiring a future of continuous growth and progress for KCB.
The lender’s asset value grew to Kes 2 trillion during his tenure.
It also reclaimed the title of the most profitable bank in East Africa after posting a 69 percent rise in Q1 net profit to Kes 16.5 billion.
