Naivas supermarket has launched a new branch in Thindigua in Kiambu County, bringing its total number of countrywide branches to 92.
The area's sizable consumer base, which is currently underserved, is the focus of the retail space.
After the Ridgeways branch, it will be the second full-service Naivas supermarket along Kiambu Road.
This occurs when major retailers are growing as customer competition increases.

Quickmart and Carrefour stores have recently begun branching out into several residential areas in the Nairobi Metropolitan Area.
Naivas established three locations in December 2022: Parklands, Nairobi West, and Uthiru.
Naivas Chief Commercial Officer Willy Kimani noted that the establishment of the new branch was motivated by the need to offer convenience to their customers by providing them with a world-class shopping experience at their doorstep.
"We have not had a presence in all these three places and we are elated to be welcoming more communities into Team Naivas. Our excitement is also compounded by the fact that this is when all the get-togethers, sherehez and homecomings are held. We now have three additional communities where we shall be a part of these life moments,” added Kimani.
