Renowned Kikuyu news anchor and presenter Ken Wakuraya, famous for hosting prime-time news on Inooro TV  introduced his brand new news website, Kenlive.co.ke, at an event held at Sportview in Kasarani on Saturday, October 7.

In a conversation with a reputable source, Wakuraya clarified that the platform will focus on comprehensive news coverage across various sectors, including politics, business, entertainment, and more.

He also mentioned that he has commenced the process of assembling a substantial news team, though he chose not to disclose the exact number of journalists he plans to bring on board. This website reports news. The objective is to cover all news, including political news. It will be distinct from every other website on the internet. We are recruiting right now," he said.

The website has a simple layout with a prominent Trending section, a maroon background, and a logo that echoes his TV brand.
His personal YouTube channel, which documents his work and has gained 28,000 subscribers to date, is also connected to this platform.
When questioned about his absence from TV, which his followers had noticed over a three-month period, Wakuraya chose not to disclose whether he had parted ways with his position at Inooro TV, Royal Media Services.

According to reports from different sources, the media personality's departure from Royal Media Services may have stemmed from conflicts with his superior. "The only person who can give credible information is me and I am not willing to disclose anything as per now," he stated.

After finishing high school, Wakuraya immediately began his media career through acting. However due to the low compensation, he left the position and started selling Mitumba clothing.
He had previously worked at a pharmacy but returned to acting with a role on Tahidi High before landing a job at Inooro TV after the channel's debut.
