Just days after Zuchu revealed her romance with Diamond Platnumz, her mother , Khadija Kopa has allowed other suitors to pursue her daughter.
The renowned mother of the celebrated singer Zuchu, Khadija Kopa, a prominent player in the Taarab music industry, has chosen to confront the persistent rumors regarding her daughter's romantic relationship with Diamond Platnumz.
In an interview with Wasafi Media, Khadija made it clear that Diamond Platnumz has not completed the essential cultural procedures to be formally recognized as Zuchu's husband.

She stressed that, in accordance with their cultural norms, a man is only officially acknowledged as being in a relationship with a woman after fulfilling specific customs, notably including the payment of dowry.
She emphasized that Diamond Platnumz had not yet undergone these customary procedures to formally establish his connection with Zuchu.
"Mahusiano yake siyajui. Mahusiano tunayojua sisi wazee wengine kwa utaratibu wa utamaduni weu ni mtu akija kuposa," said Khadija.
Despite widespread speculation and media coverage surrounding Zuchu and Diamond Platnumz's relationship, Khadija pointed out that she herself is uncertain about the precise nature of their connection.
She urged those seeking answers to approach Zuchu directly, asserting that, as a mother, she is not privy to the intricacies of their relationship.
"Lakini mahusinao ya nje siyajui. Anajua mwenyewe so muulize yeye. Ila bado hajaposwa, hakuna mahari," she said.
Khadija further advised any prospective suitors interested in her daughter to be prepared to present their dowries, as Zuchu is still available.
"Mtu ana pesa yake aje. Yeyote tu. Simba hajamuoa wala hajaleta mahari na wala si mchumba wake. Mtu yeyote tu anaweza kuja," she said.
In a prior interview, Zuchu openly acknowledged her relationship with Diamond Platnumz.
During the same interview, Zuchu also addressed questions about her sentiments towards Diamond Platnumz's three previous partners and their children.
She conveyed her comprehension and endorsement of Diamond's involvement in the upbringing of his children.
"Mimi kipindi nilianza naye nilijua ni mtu ana watoto na nilijua lazima ashiriki katika vitu vya watoto wake. Naseeb ana watoto na kila siku atakuwa kwenye maisha yao.
