In a recent live session, Tanzanian singer Vanessa Mdee, a proud mother of two, interacted with her fans and shared personal reflections on parenting.
Fans of Vanessa asked questions regarding the possible arrival of a third child during the Q&A session.
Her frank reply illuminated the realities of parenthood.
She said, smiling broadly, "Two are enough, and they are even stressing me out."
Vanessa greatly admired all mothers—her own included—who successfully reared their kids without the comforts of contemporary technology.

She was aware of the difficulties they encountered, but she was impressed by how gracefully they overcame them to make sure their kids had everything they needed.
"Things were much harder in the past, but they raised us well and handled it with such grace. Nothing was lacking for us. I find that admirable," Vanessa added.
Rotimi expressed his wish for a more prominent family in November 2022.
Having grown up as an only child, he conveyed a great wish to give his son siblings.
In a video shared on his Instagram page, Rotimi, who has one son with Vanessa, he outlined his motivations for expanding their family.
"So I want my son, Seven Adeoluwa Akinosho, to have someone that he can count on, that he looks to the left," he explained. "They know they are going to be there for him. That she looks to her right, and she knows she's got an older brother going through the same thing at the same age."
The couple purposefully chose to have children close in age, as Rotimi explains:
"You know, I wanted them to be very close in age so that there wouldn't be that six- or seven-year gap where it's basically just kids, and Vanessa understood and wanted the same thing." It was similar to having that friend.
Rotimi talked about their plans for a family as well as his selection of an African partner and the attributes he looks for in a woman from that continent.
In an interview with The Pivot Podcast, he clarified, "You get a woman who is cautious about our understanding of 'how to treat a man and how to be submissive' when you have an African woman."
