Sauti Sol boy band performed their final show together, signaling the end of an era for Kenya's finest music group.
The group decided to go their separate ways and focus on individual projects after being together for 17 years. Sauti Sol delighted its fans at the Sol Fest, a sold-out performance held in Nairobi between November 2 and 4, 2023.
Despite the expensive ticket costs, the shows drew a large crowd, with tickets selling out within hours of going on sale.
Kenyan musician Nyashinski, who has collaborated with Sauti Sol, headlined the festival, much to the audience's delight.

He bowed out with the words "long live Sautisol," eliciting a raucous response from fans who did not want the band to break up.
"We have rehearsed for our final show for 17 years," Bien Baraza said on the final Sol Fest.
May,kenyans were shocked when they announced that the group would take a break, with members pursuing solo projects.
"Sauti Sol has been an incredible journey for us, both as musicians and friends. We are grateful for the love and support we have received throughout the years. While we take this hiatus to pursue our individual and collective passions, we remain committed to our friendship and our shared businesses. The bond between us is unbreakable, and we are excited for what the future holds,” the statement read in part.
When the announcement was made, each Sauti Sol member had already released their music.
