Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua hosted family members of the late Coast-based singer Ally B at the official Mombasa residence.

The government promised to cover the expenses for the late singer's children's education and well-being.

In a statement, the meeting was announced as a breakfast meeting by CAS Ministry Youth Affairs & Sports Jaguar.



He mentioned that DP Rigathi was handling the family members' financial difficulties.

"Accompanied the family of the Late musician Ally B to the official residence of His Excellency the Deputy President Rigathe Gachagua in Mombasa. H.E. has promised to educate the late legend kids and also support the window open a business to sustain the family," Jaguar wrote.


The D.P. was touched by Ally B's story of his rise to fame.

"This morning at the Official Residence in Mombasa, I hosted the family of the late Musician Ali Mwakaribu Ally B, who passed on early this month to comfort and encourage them. Rising from a humble background, Ally B hit the national stage with his electrying music, which defined him as an exceptionally talented individual. He is also remembered for his unwavering support during our election campaigns."

The D.P. also offered words of comfort to the grieving family, listening keenly to them as they spoke. He also delivered a special message from President Ruto.


"I also delivered President @WilliamsRuto's message of comfort as we continue to pray for Ally B's Soul to Rest in Eternal Peace. We will walk this life's journey with his young family. The Creative Arts industry is central to the Ruto Administration as we seek to develop potential talent, not only for entertainment and educating, but also as a source of a dignified life for the artists and their families. I was accompanied by a politician and musician @RealJaguarKenya and Hon. Theuri." wrote Rigathi.
