In the message, she named Blessing, meaning that he had hit and wounded her. However, she soon deleted the images and went on to criticize people who were criticizing her.
The singer posted that she forgives her longtime lover, dj Blessings, for beating her up, adding that she is, however, seeking help to overcome the hardships they are experiencing in their relationship.
"My heart is so heavy that I had to tell the world my business... I forgive you J. Please find it in your hearts to forgive him too. Everyone is deserving of forgiveness in this life," Avril wrote, asking her fans to forgive J Blessing.
"I recognize that our 7-year relationship and our journey as parents to an amazing little boy has faced challenges, and there have been conflicts that escalated into fights," she continued. We recognize the need for change and are committed to seeking assistance and learning more effective ways to communicate and resolve problems." she posted on her stories.
"Our mutual goal is to foster understanding and growth by creating a more positive and supportive environment for each other." she added.
Avril also refuted critics' assertions that she was chasing clout ahead of releasing a new song, saying she would never use such a delicate topic to do so because so many people are going through domestic violence. She added that people should be kind to one another regardless of the situation.
