Kenyan dancehall artist and entrepreneur KRG the Don has extended an offer to pay US-based Kenyan digital content creator Elsa Majimbo a whopping 5 million US dollars if she agrees to renounce her Kenyan citizenship.
This is over 757 million Kenyan Shillings! Bughaa has made it clear that he's a billionaire, so that wouldn't make much of a dent in his pockets, now would it?
Clearly frustrated with Elsa's continuous criticism of her homeland, KRG voiced his exasperation, emphasizing that he, like numerous other Kenyan citizens, was weary of Elsa's unfavorable remarks about their beautiful country—a country that, he pointed out, played a role in propelling her to fame. He publicly declared his readiness to offer the 22-year-old millions of shillings in exchange for renouncing her Kenyan citizenship.

He suggested that this shouldn't be a significant issue for her, given her repeated expressions of dislike for Kenyans and her vow, made a year ago, never to set foot in the country again.
"I want to pay this young blood $5 million to cease being a Kenyan coz she made silly money and though Kenya as a country is now a disgrace to her!!! Bomboclat! Bughaa says so right now!" The father of 3 wrote.
Honestly, it would be quite a spectacle if Elsa decided to take KRG up on his offer. I'm curious to see how that scenario would unfold.
KRG's offer comes in just hours after Elsa through her socials promised that she would give out Sh152 950 ($1000) to anyone who could produce a clip of her explicitly saying the words "I hate Kenya".
She firmly asserted that, even though she had made some critical remarks about her homeland, she had never spoken words of hatred towards the country. She pledged that expressing such sentiments was something she would never do.
"Everyone says I do when I don't and have never said those words and I will never," Elsa Majimbo said in part.
I feel like as Kenyan citizens we are being gaslighted here, also isn't this the same Elsa who swore she would never ever date a black man?
Fourteen months ago, in an interview with Forbes, the content creator declared that she had no intentions of ever returning to Kenya. She attributed this decision to what she described as the "complicated and strained relationship" between her and Kenyans.
