Ruth K, Mulamwah's spouse and well-known Kenyan comedian and media personality David Oyando, opened up about their relationship and her pregnancy journey.
Ruth K stated in an interview with The Nation that she only decided to get a pregnancy test because of the widespread rumors that circulated about her after a string of posts on social media.
"I actually hadn't realized that I was pregnant until my fans noticed. It was during my birthday when I posted videos and photos and my fans spotted that the size of my tummy was unusual, which I had honestly, hadn't noticed. I then decided to a test and it turned positive."
The 23-year-old disclosed that the pregnancy was unexpected, but Mulamwah was ecstatic when she told him.

"It came earlier than planned. Nonetheless we thank God for the blessing His time is always the best."
When discussing their relationship, she revealed that it started as a friendship after they met in Eldoret. It grew, and they fell in love within a year.
"Bestie moniker was born out of the circumstance in which we met . We first met in Eldoret. It wasn't planned just a random bumping into each other. We exchanged pleasantries and contacts and and each of us went on with their lives. We kept engaging, became friends and a year into our relationship, love happened and here we are. That's how the nickname Bestie stuck because that is what we are, we are best friends."
She was concentrating on her career, doing fashion and modeling before she met Mulamwah. During the interview, she disclosed that she works as a teacher.
