Radio personality Alex Mwakideu took to his social media to celebrate his wife as she clocks a year older and he captioned, "Happy Birthday to the Queen of my heart," he wrote.

The outspoken presenter co-hosts the Radio 47 breakfast show alongside Mwashumbe every weekday from 6 am to 10 am. While the couple rarely shares images of their children on social media, the 41-year-old radio personality and his lovely partner exchanged vows in a vibrant wedding ceremony on December 27, 2014.
As per Alex's account, he encountered the enchanting woman back in 2006 while he was romantically involved with another lady during their time at the coast.
"Mariamu alinisumbua kweli! I pursued her since 2006...she would tell me that I have not settled," the radio presenter shared in an interview with Churchill.
Upon securing employment in Nairobi, Alex's prospects of winning the affections of his true love improved.

His entry into the carwash industry was facilitated by his friend Steve Nyabwa, the proprietor of Shine and Sparkle Carwash.
