Tanzanian legendary Gospel singer Rose Muhando is facing serious accusations, with claims of defrauding pastors who paid her to attend planned crusades in Kenya.

Even after Rose Muhando addressed the public refuting the fraud claim, Kenyans still have more questions. Rose Muhando and Christina Shusho are among the most loved Tanzanian female gospel artists by kenyans.

Amidst the public outcry and the need for clarification, Muhando strongly refuted the allegations in a post on her Instagram account on December 5. In a recent display of deep affection, Kenyans have expressed their love for Christina Shusho and extended requests for her to perform in Kenya. The singer has graciously accepted the invitation, confirming that she will be performing in Kenya on the 31st of this month at a concert organized by comedian Churchill.

Gospel artiste and pastor Ali Mukhwana accused her of misappropriating transport funds, publicly asserting on Monday, December 4, that Muhando did not fulfill her commitment to participate in a crusade in Bungoma.

Mukhwana outlined the sequence of events, explaining that they approached Muhando to confirm her availability for the scheduled dates. According to him, Muhando confirmed her availability after checking her calendar, and they discussed the terms. Reportedly, Muhando quoted a rate of Sh200,000 and requested a booking fee of Sh50,000. After reaching an agreement, they proceeded to create promotional materials and inform fans about the upcoming event. However, Mukhwana claimed that after sharing the materials, five individuals approached him with warnings that Muhando might not show up.

Responding to the accusations, Rose Muhando, who is currently in Nairobi for other shows, encouraged those with concerns to address them with the appropriate authorities.

In a comprehensive statement, she tackled the difficulties encountered by public figures, asserting that being a celebrity often involves dealing with numerous false accusations and rumors.

Muhando underscored the importance of verifying information before accepting everything heard about someone.

The singer emphasized her current presence in Nairobi, actively engaging in various events, and encouraged anyone with grievances to pursue legal channels for resolution.

Muhando acknowledged the difficulties faced by artists, noting that they often endure mistreatment, yet they seldom come forward to publicly complain about their challenges.

"Ukiwa mtu maarufu yatakupata mambo mengi sana, utazushiwa vitu vingi sana, Usipende kuamini kila ukisikiacho kumuhusu fulani, kwa kifupi nipo hapa Nairobi na nnaendelea na Mikutano, kama unamadai yoyote kuna vyombo vya sheria," she wrote.

She attributed this silence to their collaborations with religious leaders and stated that if they face persecution, it is often at the hands of those same religious figures.

Despite the challenges, she asserted that artists generally refrain from public complaints.

"Sisi waimbaji hatujawahi kujitokeza hadharani na kusema yale ambayo yanatupata katika huduma zetu. Huwa tunadhulumiwa pia na asilimia kubwa tunafanya kazi na viongozi wa dini hivyo kama tunadhulumiwa maana yake tunadhulumiwa na hao viongozi wa dini ila huwa hatulalamiki. sasa naomba niishie hapa kwa yanayoendelea," she wrote.
