Singer Mwana Mtule faced renewed controversy when he was captured on camera physically assaulting his wife in their residence.

The incident occurred on Tuesday night and was documented by a neighbor who subsequently shared the video on social media.

In the video, Mwana Mtule can be heard shouting and using offensive language towards his wife, who, in turn, was crying and pleading with him to stop.

The wife questioned the reason for his return to her house after they had previously separated. Sources indicate that Mtule and his wife have been grappling with marital issues for an extended period.

The singer has been facing challenges both financially and emotionally since his music career experienced a decline. Additionally, he has been embroiled in various controversies, such as falsely claiming to be poisoned and admitting to domestic violence against his wife.

Insiders disclosed that Mtule's wife is a single mother of five children from a previous marriage, and she has been providing financial support to the singer.

The neighbors, predominantly men, confronted Mwana Mtule and forcibly removed him from the house. They also criticized the wife for permitting Mwana Mtule to return to her home despite being aware of his history of violence.

Mwana Mtule, who realised that he was being filmed, begged the neighbour not to record him. “Please don’t record me. Don’t record me,” he said.
