Kenyan content creator Miss Njagi is grappling with a challenging situation on the widely used social media platform TikTok, as her accounts have faced multiple bans despite her substantial following.
The most recent setback occurred when her second account, with an impressive 418K followers, was unexpectedly banned, mirroring the fate of her initial account that had amassed over 1 million followers.
Expressing her disappointment and frustration, Miss Njagi took to her Instagram page to sarcastically question the motives behind the repeated bans, implying a sense of persecution: “Aaah TikTok mnanibamba tu lazima you make sure account imeenda, hata mfanye nini Mungu naye haniachi,” she wrote.

Undaunted by the challenges, Miss Njagi has taken on the challenge of rebuilding her presence on TikTok. She has created a new account and is steadily gaining followers, having surpassed the 1000 mark so far.
In a show of solidarity with Miss Njagi, fellow content creator Kris Baby has voiced opposition to the unfair treatment, encouraging others within the TikTok community to shed light on toxicity present on the platform.
“This goes out to fellow creators, it is high time we raise awareness on toxicity on TikTok where they decide to pick up on someone and hate for nothing it does not make sense someone losses their account thrice,” said Kris Baby.

“I am just challenging those of us who have grown through TikTok to speak up and say something, this needs to stop,” Kris Baby added.
Miss Njagi's initial ban was reportedly influenced by a case of mistaken identity, where she was erroneously perceived to be underage due to her youthful appearance.
