DJ Shiti was welcomed to the cast and crew of the third season of the comedy-drama series A Nurse Toto.
Reactions to his cameo appearance were divided; while some urged him to consider retiring, others wanted to see more cameos from him.
On March 13, Shiti responded to these remarks in an interview with Oga Obinna.
"Maadui ndio wanasema nimesiha. Real Househelps haikuisha, The series had its time, ilikuwa na wakati wake. Now we are going International," he said.
He said that he is not ready to bow out anytime soon.

"People say you should leave the game before fame fades, change is inevitable. As well as growth, So when you have done something for a certain period of time, and it is working, don't just wait until the end, no, get out before. Usikamue mpaka iishe," he added.

His flagship series was the Real Househelp of Kawangware which eventually saw a host of actors leave the show, and its eventual end on TV.
Speaking about this, Shiti said;
"As much as you have a side chick, it doesn't mean you leave things at home, nyumbani pia unaskuma tu," he shared.
He hinted there are plans in place to elevate and transform comedy in Kenya.
"Na kipindi ya Butita ni one of the programs zenye zimeleta revolution kwa game. We want to begin a revolution to this game. Revolution doesn't need too many people."
We will be able to tell the difference between mediocre and real in a few days. Our goals are to clear the path and improve the game.
