Presently, he boasts 8.72 million YouTube subscribers and a total of 2.5 billion YouTube views.
In an interview with a local publication last year, the 'Mapoz' hitmaker acknowledged Kenya's pivotal role in his music career terming the country his second home.
"Kenya is like a second home to me, especially since my youngest child was born here. I really feel at home. The country has played a significant role in supporting my music career through various events, so I have a deep love for Kenya," Diamond said.
Diamond fathered his youngest child, Naseeb Junior, with Kenyan radio personality Tanasha Donna. Kevin Meenan, YouTube's music trends manager, revealed that the majority of Diamond's YouTube views were attributed to Kenya from May 2019 to May 2020.
Tanzania and the United States followed closely as the second and third countries with significant viewership, with Tanzania contributing only 20 percent of the star's YouTube views.
“Platnumz has amassed a mind-blowing 3.6 million subscribers and 980 million views on his channel, about 80% of them from outside of Tanzania. For the measurement period of May 1, 2019, to May 1, 2020, globally, Kenya, drove the most views for Platnumz, followed by Tanzania and the United States,” Meenan said.
In 2023, Diamond graced the stage at three distinct events held in Kenya, all taking place in the capital city of Nairobi.
In 2022, Diamond received a substantial payment to perform in Kenya at an event organized by the opposition group Azimio la Umoja-One Kenya coalition party.
