During an appearance alongside Heavy D on Keenan Ivory Wayans' chat show in 1998, an awkward moment occurred when Mike Tyson reportedly had to "move P Diddy's hand away from his leg" during the interview. This incident has been brought back into focus after a resurfaced clip of the interview.
The encounter occurred during Keenan Ivory Wayans' chat show in 1998 but has gained viral attention once again amidst new claims made against the artist.
Discussing a show in New York where he fell over, P Diddy said: "So I was performing and trying to give it my all, I was busting my a***.
Did you read this?
"I'm talking about when you fall flat on your back, but I tried to play it off.
"You know when you fall but you act like no one has seen you. You just keep on rocking. I was embarrassed for like weeks."
Tyson responds: "It truly is all about the Benjamins" in reference to Diddy's song about making money.
At this moment, Tyson also grabs Diddy's hand and holds it up before awkwardly shuffling away from him on the sofa. Following this, Diddy crosses his hands before the show goes to a break.
The clip has gone viral on Twitter this weekend, amassing more than 60,000 views, with some suggesting that Tyson was moving his hand away from Diddy.
One person wrote: "Diddy was trying to touch Mike Tyson and Mike had to move his hand away."
Another claimed: "Mike Tyson knew what Diddy was all about, watch Mike move his hand away from his leg."
A third added: "Tyson ain't playing around."

But others claimed he was actually showing off a ring on the hand of Diddy.
Mike Tyson appeared to move away from Diddy after an awkward moment. This resurfaced clip has gained attention in light of recent sexual abuse lawsuits filed against the rapper.
In one lawsuit settled swiftly after filing in November, Diddy's former girlfriend Cassie accused him of years of sexual abuse, including rape.
In February, a music producer filed another lawsuit alleging that Combs coerced him into soliciting prostitutes and pressured him to engage in sexual activities with them.
Another accuser of the rapper is a woman who claimed that Diddy 'raped' her twenty years ago when she was just 17.
Diddy and his legal team have consistently denied all allegations.
