Miss Trudy, a well-known Kenyan YouTuber married to Ghanaian YouTuber Wode Maya, recently encountered a distressing incident at a US airport, which led to her missing her flight.
Expressing her frustration, she disclosed that she was not given adequate time to explain her situation and expressed disappointment, as this was the second time she had faced such detention at a US airport.
Turning to her YouTube channel, Trudy openly discussed her experience, shedding light on the difficulties and frustrations she encountered during her travel ordeal.
“I have just been told to sit down, no one is talking to me and the plane is about to leave do not understand. They needed a return ticket from Ghana and I told them I did not live in Ghana, they asked for an ID and I told them am married in Ghana. I showed them my marriage certificate to no avail. I am so frustrated I do not understand why this is happening to me.”
Trudy also mentioned that despite residing in Ghana, she has been unable to obtain citizenship.
