Bryan Chweya of Elani has called out Savara of Sautisol for criticizing Elani and saying they broke up because they were trying to compete with Sauti Sol.
Savara claimed in an interview with the Miccheque podcast that Elani had some talent and had once assisted them in producing a few songs.
Savara claims that Bryan Chweya, Wambui Ngugi, and Maureen Kunga face difficulties because Bryan is frequently left out, and the women feel like the stars.
He stated that one major issue facing the group was the imbalance of genders.

While they were at it, Savara said the group fell off while attempting to compete with Sautisol.
Bryan Chweya refuted Savara's assertions and cautioned him against pursuing influence through Elani's name. Savara is enraged, he continued, because Bien is succeeding alone.
Elani, who is well-known for hits like "Jana Usiku," "Koo Koo," "Milele," "Hapo Zamani," and others, hasn't released new music in a long time.
They had disclosed in an earlier interview that they intended to take a sabbatical before returning.
