Tanzanian actress Fridah Kajala Masanja has sparked significant controversy with a recent social media post that appears to condone throwing knives at ex-boyfriends. Kajala, who has one daughter, shared a quote from Wasafi Media reporter Oscar Oscar. The quote implies that only those with whom one shares children can be considered ex-lovers, suggesting that other past relationships are insignificant.

“Ex is someone you had a child with. Those others are just people you know,” Kajala captioned the post, seemingly endorsing Oscar’s perspective.

The post has raised eyebrows, especially given Kajala’s history with her ex-partners. One notable ex-boyfriend is Rajab Abdul Kahali, popularly known as Harmonize, a former beau of the veteran actress. Additionally, Kajala has a 21-year-old daughter from her previous relationship with Tanzanian music producer P-Funk Majani.

Despite their past differences, the two recently came together at a baby shower celebrating their daughter Paula Paul’s pregnancy.

During the event, Kajala publicly apologized to Majani, acknowledging her past mistakes and expressing regret for any harm caused.

She confessed that their relationship had been strained, leading to a lack of communication and even blocking each other on various platforms.

However, Kajala praised Majani’s current wife, Samira, for bridging the gap between them and facilitating communication for the sake of their daughter. She commended Majani for being a good father and expressed gratitude for his presence and forgiveness.

While Kajala’s apology may have been well-received, her earlier social media post about ex-lovers has sparked debate and criticism, with many questioning the appropriateness of her remarks.

In 2021, P Funk Majani disowned his daughter Paula and condemned Kajala amid allegations that Harmonize was involved with both of them.
