Together, Jada Pinkett Smith and Will Smith walked the Bad Boys: Ride or Die red carpet. The event occurred on Thursday, May 30, before the movie's June 7 release date. 

Both celebrities made their first public appearances since announcing their seven-year separation. The Smith family, including Willow and Jaden, Will's son Trey, and Adrienne Banfield-Norris, Jada's mother, were also present.


It's here, Bad Boys: Ride or Die. After Thursday night's early screenings, social media is buzzing with discussion about the latest entry in the Will Smith and Martin Lawrence action franchise. Major cities, including Atlanta, Chicago, D.C., Houston, Philadelphia, Miami, and Los Angeles, hosted screenings of "Bad Boys: Ride or Die."

Get this: stars Will Smith and Martin Lawrence surprised some fans at a Los Angeles screening by giving out hot dogs and Skittles, a reference to one of the movie's opening scenes. These fans were highly fortunate. 

 

The pair is back to head the ensemble, including Tiffany Haddish and Joe Pantoliano in cameo roles. Other cast members include Vanessa Hudgens, Alexander Ludwig, Paola Nuñez, Eric Dane, Ioan Gruffudd, Jacob Scipio, Melanie Liburd, and Tasha Smith. 

Reviews of the movie are positive. Drew Taylor of The Wrap said that the "action sequences are loaded with inventive staging and camerawork" and that "the new mystery is compelling." 

"The action is just as good as you'd expect, and it might be the funniest yet," Screen Rant's Owen Danoff continued.
