Diddy is facing new consequences due to the Cassie video and sexual assault allegations, as the Miami Beach Commission has decided to revoke "Sean Diddy Combs Day."
Diddy had originally received this honor from then-Miami Beach Mayor Philip Levine during the 2016 Revolt Music Conference. This week, however, the city's Commissioners voted to rescind the proclamation. Diddy was awarded the proclamation in October 2016, just seven months after surveillance footage captured him assaulting his ex-girlfriend in a Los Angeles hotel. At the time, neither the general public nor the City of Miami Beach was aware of the incident, which only came to light this year.
According to the Miami Herald, the Miami Beach Commission made the decision to revoke the honor this past Wednesday without any debate.
Miami Beach has long been a significant location for Diddy, with his properties on Star Island being raided in March. Despite the controversies, he has been seen around the city since then.
