Rick Ross' violent altercation in Vancouver is directly linked to his ongoing feud with Drake, Waza News has learned.
Sources tell us that the fight on Sunday night ignited when several Canadians confronted Rick for dissing Drake in videos posted over a month ago. The situation escalated when Rick ended his set at the Ignite Music Festival by playing "Not Like Us" over the PA system, further agitating the Drake supporters.

As previously reported, one fan threw a punch at Rick, sparking a brawl that was captured in several videos. Sources say Rick was leaving the stage with DJ Sam Sneak, his manager, a few friends, and two bodyguards when one of the guards was jumped by several men and knocked down. Someone from Rick's entourage was also knocked out, but Rick managed to retreat to a waiting car.
The beef between Rick and Drake heated up earlier this year, with both artists exchanging insults in comments and videos. Notably, Rick accused "cupcake Drake" of getting a nose job and claimed he wasn't really Black. Rick also featured on Kendrick Lamar's "We Don't Trust You," a Drake diss track.
Despite the attack, Rick expressed his appreciation for Vancouver, calling it a beautiful city and stating he looks forward to returning. However, playing in Toronto might be a different story.
