Julio Foolio passed away last week, but a recent post has fans wondering if he faked his death. On Sunday (June 30), Foolio’s team shared a No Jumper interview featuring the late rapper on his Instagram.

The video carried a simple message for his fans and haters: “I’ll Never Die I’m a DemiGod,” accompanied by a devil emoji. In the clip, Adam22 asks Foolio what he means by calling himself a “demigod.” The Jacksonville artist explains that he got the idea from playing PlayStation's God of War, asserting, “I’m a demigod, they can’t get me.” Given the circumstances, it's likely his account was hacked.

The following day (July 2), Foolio’s page posted a clip depicting the “When I See You” artist as the Undertaker, referencing the WWE wrestler’s famous act of playing dead before rising again. The brief video included a caption saying “my grandma does voodoo,” implying that he might return from the dead or that he can’t be killed.

These videos left fans both spooked and confused. Many demanded answers about his whereabouts if he isn’t dead. “Bro confusing everybody, like r u dead or whatttttt?” one person commented. “I won’t believe he’s dead until I see a funeral,” wrote another. “My ni**a rebooted or expired, which one?” quipped a fan. “Ian see no autopsy report or balloon release,” added another.

The Florida musician was shot and killed on Monday (June 24) while celebrating his 26th birthday in Tampa. Foolio had been staying at a Holiday Inn after being kicked out of an Airbnb. According to his attorney, Lewis Fusco, the artist was “ambushed” in the parking lot, leading to his death. Before the party, the rapper, born Charles Jones, had shared the party’s address on his IG Story.

“Mr. Jones had been in Tampa to celebrate his birthday over the weekend,” Fusco said in a statement. “Law enforcement reports indicate that he initially stayed at an Airbnb but was asked to leave due to exceeding occupancy limits. He subsequently relocated to the Holiday Inn, where he was involved in an incident in the hotel parking lot and reportedly ambushed.”
