A source close to Daphne Joy has provided some insight, telling Waza News that she deleted her post accusing 50 Cent of rape in an effort to smooth things over for the sake of their son. It appears that 50 Cent has also removed his posts about Daphne.

Daphne hired attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan, but he has not yet commented on the situation.

In an interesting development, Daphne Joy has removed her social media post accusing 50 Cent of rape amid his ongoing defamation lawsuit over the same post. Daphne, the mother of 50 Cent's son Sire, had publicly accused the rapper of rape and physical abuse in a March 28 Instagram post, which 50 Cent immediately denied. He then sued her for defamation in May.

Daphne's post has since been deleted from her Instagram account. The exact timing and reason for the removal are unclear, but sources tell Waza that it has nothing to do with 50 Cent's lawsuit. There has been no settlement, and the case is moving forward.

Daphne's rape allegation against 50 Cent came in response to a lawsuit filed against Diddy, in which Daphne was accused of being a "sex worker" for Diddy. 50 Cent reacted by posting captions on Instagram such as, "I didn't know you were a sex worker, 👀 you little sex worker. LOL 😆."

Following the allegation, 50 Cent filed for full custody of Sire. The court has not yet decided on that matter.

Daphne responded with her own post, accusing 50 Cent of "raping me and physically abusing me."

Our News desk has reached out to Daphne for further comment but has not received a response. It remains to be seen if the deletion of her post will lead to any peace talks with 50 Cent. Reps for 50 Cent also had no comment.
