Tupac Shakur's family and estate recently made headlines by hiring attorney Alex Spiro to investigate the rumored connection between Sean "Diddy" Combs and Tupac’s murder. This decision coincides with the federal case and various allegations of misconduct against Diddy, leading many to speculate about the involvement of other celebrities. On a recent stream, DJ Akademiks shifted his focus to Jay-Z, noting that Spiro is also reportedly his lawyer. He further suggested that Jay-Z may have sent Spiro to Tupac's family to damage Diddy's reputation, although these claims remain unconfirmed.

Akademiks speculated that Jay-Z could be trying to send a message to Diddy, saying, "Maybe this is a way to warn him, letting him know, 'I've got dirt on you that could ruin you.'" He likened Diddy's situation to Frank Lucas in *American Gangster*, suggesting that Diddy might start revealing names to authorities, potentially implicating figures like Clive Davis or Jay-Z himself. According to Akademiks, Jay-Z could be trying to protect his own empire from Diddy's alleged cooperation with law enforcement.

"Chat, am I diving too deep into the conspiracy here?" Akademiks asked his viewers. He theorized that Jay-Z might be using Spiro to keep Diddy in check, making sure he doesn't expose others in an attempt to save himself. "Jay-Z could either be letting Diddy take all the blame or sending a message to keep him quiet," Akademiks added.

He concluded by imagining what advice he might give if he were in Jay-Z’s position: "If I were friends with Diddy, I’d tell my lawyer to stay out of it. Whether he’s guilty or not, I wouldn’t want to be involved in any way because of our past association. Jay, you’re a cold one, man. I'll leave it at that."
