Popular radio host Alex Mwakideu has taken to social media to strongly deny allegations made by whistleblower Nelson Amenya regarding an alleged scheme involving the Adani Group and Kenyan influencers.
Amenya had accused Mwakideu and other well-known figures of receiving payments from a marketing company to promote and improve Adani’s image in Kenya.
In his response, Mwakideu issued a bold challenge, offering a reward of Ksh1 million to anyone who could provide evidence to back up Amenya's claims.

"Go through all my social media pages and listen to Radio 47,” Mwakideu said. “If you find any instance where Alex Mwakideu has defended Adani, I will give you Ksh1 million in cash. There's no time limit on this offer, so take your time. Good luck!”

Amenya’s accusations, which surfaced over the weekend, were based on alleged leaked emails from the CEO of a marketing firm. These emails reportedly outlined a strategy to improve public perception of Adani’s interests in Kenya over the next three months. The claims also referenced upcoming projects, including a major development at the Mombasa port, as part of this initiative.
