An amended lawsuit filed Sunday in federal court accuses music icons Jay-Z and Sean "Diddy" Combs of sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl during a party in 2000.
The alleged incident reportedly occurred at Combs's event following the MTV Music Awards in New York.
Initially filed in October in the Southern District of New York, the lawsuit did not directly name Jay-Z, referring to him only as "Celebrity A." The recent amendment explicitly identifies Jay-Z as a defendant.
Jay-Z has vehemently denied the allegations, calling them a "blackmail attempt" orchestrated by the plaintiff's attorney, Tony Buzbee. In a statement on social media, the rap mogul dismissed the lawsuit as baseless. His legal team has yet to issue an official response.

Combs, already facing federal sex trafficking charges to which he has pleaded not guilty, denies all claims, including these new allegations.
Attorney Tony Buzbee, representing the plaintiff, stated that the lawsuit "speaks for itself." He previously attempted to resolve the matter through mediation, sending a letter to Jay-Z seeking a settlement. However, Buzbee alleges that Jay-Z retaliated by filing a lawsuit against him and orchestrating harassment against his legal team.
Buzbee recently sued Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan, the law firm representing both Jay-Z and Combs, accusing its attorneys of intimidation tactics against his colleagues, clients, and family. The firm has not commented on the allegations.
This case adds to the mounting legal troubles for Combs, with over 20 lawsuits filed against him by Buzbee, accusing him of various sexual misconduct claims.
