Kenyan rapper Kennedy Ombima, popularly known as King Kaka, and content creator Nana Owiti have officially announced the end of their 13-year relationship.
In a joint statement, the former couple explained that the decision was made after careful thought and deep reflection, emphasizing that it was not easy.

“Being public figures, we understand that our personal lives may attract attention. However, we kindly request privacy and understanding as we transition into this new chapter. Our priority remains co-parenting our children with love, stability, and respect,” they added.
This announcement follows months of speculation regarding their separation, which surfaced in mid-2024. At the time, King Kaka dismissed the rumors, cautioning bloggers against involving his family in unverified claims.
