Popular Gospel singer and philanthropist Karangu Muraya and his estranged wife, Trizah are yet to resolve their issue.
Tensions flared again on Sunday, April 13th, when Karangu posted a photo of himself with the children at Carol Kim’s compound. The post sparked a storm of reactions, especially after Trizah revealed that the children were encouraged to call Carol "mum" and even phoned her under Karangu's instruction.
Heartbroken, Trizah shared her pain online, questioning why the father of her children would attempt to erase her role as a mother. She expressed disbelief that while she endured abandonment with their kids for months, Karangu seemed unable to do the same for even two months.

Now determined, Trizah has vowed to reclaim her children, saying she would never allow another woman to raise them while she is still alive. Her supporters have rallied behind her, offering encouragement and pledging support in her pursuit.
In a more recent update, Trizah—now going by the name Trizah Mamake Muraya—shared that she plans to reunite with her children peacefully, without engaging in online drama. After the separation, she found solace in the support of her best friend, Essy Wa Willy, who also helped launch her music career and hosted her in Nairobi.
Meanwhile, Karangu has continued to care for the children along with the family's livestock and domestic responsibilities. On Sunday, he posted a video of himself and the kids in church, followed by several photos—one featuring a young girl whom many believe to be Carol Kim’s daughter.
As emotions run high and both parents take different paths, the story of Trizah and Karangu is unfolding in full view of a public that's closely watching, hoping for peace, healing, and the best outcome for the children involved.
Although Karangu has been widely celebrated for his charitable acts and brand ambassador roles, his personal life has taken a tumultuous turn. His wife, Trizah, has mostly kept a low profile despite her husband's fame. However, cracks in their marriage became public when it emerged that Karangu had allegedly decided to marry a second wife Carol Kim.
What made matters worse was Karangu's decision to move in with Carol, leaving Trizah in their Gatundu home with their three children. Unable to bear the pain of a broken marriage and unwilling to accept a polygamous relationship, Trizah eventually left, making the heart-wrenching choice to leave her children behind.
After stepping away from the marriage, Trizah found strength in her pain. She recorded her first gospel song, which received overwhelming support from fans who believed she deserved better. Her journey of healing and self-reinvention led to ambassadorial deals and a growing fanbase. Trizah expressed her desire to eventually reunite with her children, saying she needed time to settle before bringing them home.
