Karangu Muraya has captured the hearts of many after making a surprise appearance at his estranged first wife, Triza Njeri's, album launch.

The emotional event, held on Sunday, April 27, at the Blue Springs Hotel along Thika Road, marked the first face-to-face meeting between the two since their much-publicised separation. Karangu attended the launch accompanied by their three children, and his presence visibly moved both the audience and the host.

Several celebrities and artistes, including Samidoh, Karen Nyamu, Wanja Asali, and Wanja Nyayari, graced the occasion.

When given the opportunity to speak, Karangu expressed deep admiration and respect for Triza. Addressing the crowd, he publicly apologised and vowed to stand by her side, despite their past differences.

"You know we are not in competition. I pray that God makes you shine. For those who said I couldn't take Triza to the studio because it was expensive, just know that God's timing is the best. Triza, you're going to sing a lot and become wealthy. May my God be your God," he declared to a cheering audience.

In a heartfelt gesture, Karangu gifted Triza KSh 200,000 to support her music journey and pledged his unwavering support moving forward.

Adding to the emotional atmosphere, Karangu warmly embraced Triza's best friend, Tata Essy, leaving many guests touched by the show of unity and forgiveness.

Concluding his remarks, the gospel singer-turned-philanthropist professed his enduring love and respect for Triza.

"Triza, I want you to know that I respect you, I love you, and I want you to succeed in everything you do. From today onwards, do all that you must with the assurance that you have a husband who supports you and has your back," he affirmed.

Although they have not officially reconciled, Karangu's heartfelt speech and generous gesture have sparked hope among fans that their bond remains strong.
