Trizah Njeri, the estranged wife of popular Kikuyu gospel artist Karangu Muraya  has issued a heartfelt apology on her social media platforms. The message was directed to her fans and the brands she represents as an ambassador, following the unexpected events that unfolded during her album launch on Sunday at Bluesprings Hotel.

It is worth recalling that Triza Njeri's estranged husband, Karangu Muraya, made a surprise appearance at the album launch, where he used the moment to publicly apologize to her parents for marrying a second wife without consulting her—a gesture many interpreted as an attempt to reconcile.

However, on Tuesday, a leaked audio surfaced, allegedly recorded before the event, which revealed that Triza Njeri had actually wanted Karangu to attend. In the recording, she is heard firmly defending him when someone tried to block his access to the venue.

The mother of three stood her ground, insisting she would not tolerate any disrespect toward the father of her children.

Triza Njeri was also heard confidently telling anyone who felt the need to unfollow her over Karangu Muraya’s presence at the event to go ahead and do so.

"I hear that she (someone) told the security not to allow Karangu to enter the event. She wanted to block him as who? I will not accept that and anyone who will unfollow me because of this let it be so. I will not sit here and let the father of my children be disrespected, hio hio hapana. I did leave this house, but he still has his respect as the father of my children" she said.

Triza Njeri’s decision to allow Karangu Muraya to attend her album launch raised eyebrows, particularly because the two serve as brand ambassadors for competing companies.

Given that the event was organized for Triza, it was naturally expected that only the banners of the brands she represents would be displayed. However, many were surprised to spot promotional materials from brands associated with Karangu as well, sparking questions about the nature of their involvement.

A clear example of the brand conflict was seen in the presence of a large banner from Dama Mobile Spares—Karangu Muraya’s affiliated brand—at the event, despite Triza Njeri being the official ambassador for Karis Karis Mobiles, a direct competitor in the mobile spare parts industry.

In response to the backlash, Triza Njeri took to her Facebook page on Tuesday night to express her regret over the incident. She issued a heartfelt apology to her fans as well as to the brands she represents, acknowledging the oversight and any confusion it may have caused.

"Dear fans,

Things happen and we learn. On this, I choose to take it as a lesson which I will hold dearly moving forward. I apologize for any misunderstanding or unintended offense that this order of events have caused you my fans and BRANDS that I support.

My fans you've been my source of inspiration and strength during my most difficult times/Moments. You saw a woman who was bleeding, broken and looked down upon and fought for her with your all and on that I am ashamed of my actions..." Triza said in part.

She added:

"On that fateful day emotions ran high, my past experience took control and pressure from outside took over...Consumed by frustration and anger I couldn't hold it anymore. My actions have not only impacted you my fans, But have also cast a shadow on the BRANDS who trusted in me and my family at large.

I EXTEND MY HEART FELT REGRET TO YOU ALL..."
