Businessman Kennedy Rapudo has made it clear that his fiancée, popular socialite Amber Ray, is already his wife in every way that matters—despite the fact that their official wedding has yet to take place.

The couple, who have been engaged for over two years, continue to face public scrutiny and pressure over the delay in formalizing their union.

Speaking to YouTuber Trudy Kitui during their daughter Africanah’s birthday celebration on Sunday, June 1, 2025, Rapudo addressed the concerns, saying the wedding will happen when the time is right for them. He emphasized that their bond goes beyond a ceremony and that they are already committed as life partners.

“We’ve talked about the wedding over and over again. It will come at the right time,” he said.

Adding; “I know Amber Ray wants a wedding, but she is already my wife. It will happen. You know I plan things on my own time. When the right time comes, we will do it. And when that time comes, I will give her one of the best weddings; it will be talked about in the whole country.”

Amber Ray echoed the same sentiments, adding that they have chosen to focus on other priorities before planning a big ceremony.

“He has been wanting us to do a wedding. For us, we are taking our own time, working on certain projects that are taking all our money. We do not want to start a fundraiser so we can get married. We will do it when we are done. We do not have to bow to the pressure,” she shared.

Rapudo also opened up about the topic of having more children. He explained that while he is interested in expanding their family, he wants to give Amber Ray a proper wedding first.

“About having another kid, we have so many things we are working on. I have not been on social media. I’ve been very busy. And before I think of having more kids, I owe this lady a wedding. Then we can pop two more,” he said.

In 2023, Rapudo revealed plans to settle down officially with Amber Ray and hinted at a private wedding ceremony that might happen without the public knowing.

“It will be private. Maybe you won’t even know, it will be a surprise,” he said in a previous interview.

When asked whether their wedding ceremony would be publicized, Kennedy Rapudo playfully responded, suggesting, “Maybe we already got married, or maybe we haven’t”—keeping fans guessing.

He went on to share his perspective on marriage, emphasizing that it's not about perfection but about partnership, teamwork, and continuous growth together.

“Anything about marriage, if you come with just your terms, it never works. We are only there to help each other. She is who she is as a person, and I am who I am as a person. Anything else, we can only work on it pole pole,” he said.
