Willis Austin Chimano, a well-known LGBTQ member, has finally broken the silence. Chimano said no one owes anybody anything. He advised people to protect their hearts, smile, love, and live. He said rising above the very loud noise is a struggle.
Chimano has been touring with an unidentified man for the past few weeks and is currently having the time of his life in Vietnam.
LGBTQ conversation has been trending in Kenya for some time now. Yesterday, things came to a head when President William Ruto, his running mate Riggy G, and their political adversary Raila Odinga joined forces to denounce homosexuality.
President Ruto vowed that the LGBTQ movement would not spread during his tenure.

After homosexual fashionista Edwin Chimano was killed, the LGBTQ issue came to the fore of public discourse. Edwin was discovered dead and hidden inside a metal box. Gay communities expressed anxiety about Edwin's passing since he was gay and a cross-dresser. Chimano is one of several prominent homosexual activists and celebrities who support LGBTQ rights and who has spoken out against alleged homophobia.
Nonetheless, as Edwin's claimed boyfriend/best friend was detained as the primary suspect, it gradually became apparent that the murder may have more to do with a love affair than a hate crime.
