After posting a video of himself performing on Africa's tallest mountain, Mt. Kilimanjaro, a Tanzanian DJ stunned online viewers.
DJ Joozey, actual name Joseph Simon, claimed to have played a 15-minute set 5,895 meters above sea level in a tweet posted on Sunday.
"I succeeded! On Mount Kilimanjaro, the tallest free-standing peak in the world, I played four thousand nine hundred meters (16,100 feet) above its plateau base and 5,895 meters (19,341 feet) above sea level.

I achieved a world record as the first man to perform a 15-minute DJ set. THE GOOD LORD! The DJ had put the caption on the video clip of him performing while perched atop Kilimanjaro.
One of Tanzania's rising stars is Joozey. The 27-year-old has only been involved in show business for around five years, according to the local journal Tangaza Magazine.
The DJ was one of the few chosen Africans in American rapper DJ Khaled's album campaign for his "God Done" album last year, though.
