Diamond Platnumz's former employee Harmonize, who goes by name "Konde Boy," has threatened to sue him for royalties.
A legal team is being assembled by Harmonize, who most recently appeared on Kwame by Khaligraph Jones, to help bring legal action against the record company of WCB.
Harmonize claims that since leaving the Diamond-owned record company, WCB has deducted his publishing fees from his earnings.
The singer of Uno further claimed that Wasafi worked with the music distribution company Mziiki to profit from his publishing rights.

Wasafi and Mziiki have teamed up to mistreat me, despite the fact that I have done nothing wrong. It has been a struggle to wrest what is properly mine from them so that I can provide for my family in the same way that they provide for theirs. Why would they prevent me from using my intellectual property (IP) while continuing to collect money from them on my behalf?, Harmonize asks.
Rapper Mwana FA, the recently appointed Assistant Minister for Culture and the Arts, has been asked to assist Harmonize in resolving the impulse. Due to their recent collaboration on the same tune, the two have a strong affinity.
"I haven't been able to collect my publication royalties for three years, so I'm depending on him to aid me."
According to Harmonize, who also claims to have just got a call from Ziiki Media, a different music distribution company, to go collect 25,000 US dollars (Sh3.2 million) in royalties from them, the unpaid royalties amount to millions of shillings.
Harmonized was had to pay Sh25 million as the buyout of the remainder of his contract when he forced himself out of Wasafi in 2019, ending his 10-year deal early while in the fourth year.
