The comedy game of Eric Omondi is drastically changing into a serious activism and political career. The renowned comedian is set to vie for the presidency in 2037!

According to the comedian, a new generation of Kenyan leaders is needed in Kenya. He also criticized long-standing politicians who he claim have a little contribution.

With his previous Unga protests and upcoming March to the State House this month, Eric Omondi has dabbled in politics.

If Eric decides to enter politics, he will be the most recent in a long list of comedians who have made it to politics. John Kiarie and Jalang'o are current members of parliament, as well as Walter Mong'are alias Nyambane.

Eric joins a group of prominent artists who have stated their ambition to run for the presidency, including Prof. Hamo and singer Bahati.

Bahati Mtoto Wa Mama declared in an interview with Tanzanian YouTuber Millard Ayo that he is seriously considering running for president. The Wa Nani musician sparked speculation about a 2037 presidential run after dipping his toes into politics for the first time last year.

Eric Omondi, through a statement, said that in 2037 he would be the president of Kenya. The personification of a jack of all trades is Professor Hamo. Former Churchill comedian intends to someday hold the highest governmental positions after working as a teacher, stand-up comedian, radio broadcaster, and online influencer.

Hamo stated his intentions to enter elected politics in 2027 and suggested that his strategy would be to develop gradually and in accordance with the Rigathi Gachagua model. He revealed details of his next MCA run in his hometown of Nakuru while fielding fan questions during a Q&A session on his Instagram stories. "2022 [2027] Kama Riggy G tunaanzia MCA tukipanda. I am running for office in Nakuru County. Free Zone, Watu wangu."

Reuben Kigame, a gospel musician, recently made a new presidential run by declaring his candidacy for the 2027 elections. Reuben has attempted running before, but this would be his first appearance. According to the electoral organization IEBC, his name was notably dropped from the 2022 presidential field due to flaws with his application.

In addition, he admits that he will join a political party in 2027 even though he originally planned to run as an independent. Reuben posted on Twitter as follows: "In Kenya, I've finally discovered a political party that I support. In 2027, I'll run for office, but not as an independent."
