Nominated Senator Karen Nyamu says she does whatever she wants after being mocked for attending a prestigious secondary school and then dating a married, vernacular singer.

Her retaliation came after she invited an alum breakfast meeting for women who attended Limuru Girls High School and was chastised for not living up to the school's reputation with her infamous on-again, off-again affair with her baby daddy Samidoh, born Samuel Muchoki.

"You went to Limuru only to kudate mtu wa mugithii na kuiba bwana za watu," Nashon Ngolon said yesterday.

Senator Karen Nyamu responded with a laugh and clap, saying, "We do as we please." We are not inferior to you to please society."

This response confirms the belief that Ms Nyamu and Samidoh, the father of her two children, have reconciled. The split was precipitated by an incident earlier this year in which a drunk Nyamu embarrassed herself and the singer at a concert in Dubai.

The senator and Samidoh's wife, Edday Nderitu, who was also in the club, fought. Nyamu then announced that she was leaving Samidoh to save face.

However, the two reconnected at two funerals a few weeks ago. They have since been seen together on several occasions, including their daughter's first birthday and last Sunday's homecoming party for Trade Cabinet Secretary Moses Kuria.

Ms Nyamu and Samidoh were seen drinking together in a video shared online. Senator used a felt pen to write Samidoh's name on her cheek.

In previous online dramas, Nyamu faced public scorn for destroying Edday's marriage and ruining their children. But she retorted that she is up to fighting Edday for her relationship with Samidoh because she is not a defeated woman.

Edday and Samidoh's marriage appears to be on the rocks, despite an earlier display of affection online. Edday stated weeks ago that she would not participate in a polygamous marriage, especially with an "immoral woman" like Nyamu.

She also recently posted a video of herself singing, "I'm a single woman." However, confusion arose when Samidoh and Edday engaged in affectionate and humorous banter beneath Edday's post about his childhood experiences with punishment.

It remains to be seen whether Samidoh will have his women follow the rules this time.
