After allegations that Azziad Nasenya underwent body-enhancing surgery to make herself curvier, she has finally responded.

Azziad first gained attention on social media as a tall, skinny girl, but as money and fame started to flow in, she put on more weight and developed a curvier form.

Azziad claimed during a live TikTok session that Kenyans first learned about her after she had lost nearly 20 kg following a case of typhoid.

"People develop. It is the initial factor. Second, I'm still a young person, and I am still growing, so I'm confident my body will alter. Third, in August or September of this year, before Utawezana and you met me, I contracted typhoid.

Anybody who has ever experienced typhoid knows how awful it is. I weighed 65 kilograms before typhoid, and it reduced my weight till I was just 44 kg. So horrible was it.

I had lost too much weight when I was performing Utawezana (a song by Kenyan singers Mejja and Femi One), and you guys realized who I was. Do you comprehend? Yes. Azziad stated, "Ladies' bodies are still developing, so when I see someone say I had surgery, I look at them with disbelief.

Due to her fondness for makeup and weaves/wigs, Azzziad's weight and constantly changing facial appearance were topics of conversation.

Once she became viral and gained popularity on social media in 2021, many people remarked that she was supposedly overeating and that her body was getting curvier and looking more seductive when she filmed her well-known TikTok dances.

She also disclosed that she had set out to put on weight again on purpose. Azziad has experienced trolling and hateful remarks on various topics relating to her persona and online activity during her social media career. She previously discussed how she was motivated to handle all the online hate.

"When I first started, I had goals for everything, including my profession. I made sure not to lose sight of those goals, and my manager, who has a wealth of experience in the field, also gave me advice on how to handle hateful remarks. Concentrate on you. I deactivated Twitter, so I don't have it right now. Azziad stated, "Because I'm so upbeat and bubbly with all this optimism.
