As anticipated, Cebbie Koks did not attend the wedding, and Akothee has publicly stated that she regrets her decision. In an Instagram post, Akothee addressed the matter, clearly stating the situation.
Akothee wrote a lengthy message on her timeline in October in which she expressed her good wishes for Cebbie but stated that she did not want to be connected to her or anything related to her.

In the video, Akothee continued by claiming that she has nothing against her sister but must disconnect to maintain her mental stability.
After Edgar Obare revealed Cebbie for betraying Akothee a few years earlier, the sisters' savage rivalry came to light.
Cebbie denied the claims, noting that their conflict is transient and comparable to that of other sibling rivalries.
