Boutross, born Kevin Mwebia Munene, will perform at a Rugby Sevens after-party event in the United Kingdom on May 20, 2023, alongside other famous Kenyan hitmakers.

The event will be held at The Royal Regency in London, with tickets ranging from Sh 4,500 for early birds to Sh 150,000 for VIP tables for ten.

Boutross told Nairobi News that he is "super pumped" because this will be his first performance outside of Africa.

"I'm ecstatic. This is a new experience for me. Fans attending the event should just anticipate Boutross the Wildcat since, on stage, I'm always the person that exudes the best, craziest energy. "So, what I expect from the guys is the same energy I'll be bringing," Boutross said.

Boutross is most known for his hit song Angela, which has received over one billion views on the social media app TikTok.

He was also able to work on a remix of the song with Jamaican superstar artist Konshens, which was published around a month ago.

In compared to the original, which has 4.6 million views on his YouTube profile, the remix has little more than 500,000 views.

"The Angela song has helped me and my career a lot." It has opened many doors, not doors, but gates. It has opened many doors. Having a billion views on TikTok has a lot of eyes that you can physically feel because I can just go anywhere, any county, or even the smallest hotel and I'm sure I'll run into someone who knows who I am. So I can sense the effect. "Manze, a billion views on TikTok, shout out to that," Boutross continued.

He went on to say that the billion TikTok views helped him "become better," and that the other personal impact on him is that he no longer has much privacy.

"I'm not sure. It's just satisfying because it makes me feel like all of my efforts weren't in vain. Thank you to everyone who has helped. "Shout out to you guys, and see you soon," Boutross added on the song's impact on his personal life.

The song was utilized in the #angelaboutrossdance competitions, in which millions of Kenyans, including media stars, took part.

Boutross also informed Nairobi News that he is preparing to release a couple of new tracks, one of which, Misbehavior, is due to launch on May 20th.

"I'll be releasing my first album this year; I won't say when, but it will be this year." Guys, expect Mtindo the album to be released with a couple extra singles," Boutross stated.

Boutross began rapping when he was 12 years old, and his ascent to prominence has seen him play at several major events, like the recent Shoke Shoke Festival pre-party, which also featured Nigerian mega star musician Ayra Starr, who flew into the nation last month to perform.
