Zari the Boss Lady, a popular Ugandan socialite, and businesswoman, has denied rumours of a previous marriage before tying the knot with her current husband, Shakib Lutaaya.

Zari acknowledged having romances with the late Ivan Ssemwanga and Bongo musician Diamond in an interview with a Ugandan publication, but none of those connections led to marriage. Zari has five kids total—three with Ivan and two with Diamond—but she's never been married before. Shakib, whom she recently married after dating for more than a year, is the first man in her life, in her own words, to hold the title of husband.

Social media fans' emotions were split when Zari the Boss Lady revealed the identity of her younger lover, Shakib Lutayo. Given her preference for younger men, as shown by her baby daddy Diamond, some complimented her for living life to the fullest, while others criticized her for setting a poor example for her children and those who look up to her.

According to appearances, Zari and Shakib are prepared to advance their romance. Shakib is ready to see her father and ask for her hand in marriage, according to a video Zari uploaded on Instagram.

When speaking in her native language recently, the socialite did not mince words to those who wished ill for her and her boyfriend, saying that their relationship would end in tears.

Zari, who was seen having a fun time with her boyfriend by her side, firmly told her critics that if they were waiting for her relationship to fail, they would be waiting forever. The mother of five made it clear that she was committed to her relationship with Shakib and was unbothered by the negative comments.

Despite facing criticism and scrutiny from trolls, Zari has remained resolute in her commitment to making her relationship with Shakib work. She has consistently pushed back against those who question their age difference and has been quick to defend their love.
