Lukresia Robai, a student at the Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC), has experienced a significant expansion of opportunities. Robai gained widespread attention for her heartwarming dance performances for patients in hospital wards, which she shared through TikTok videos.

Following the viral spread of a video clip featuring Robai entertaining guests in Switzerland, she has once again become the center of attention, capturing the public's interest and admiration. Her talent and dedication have further elevated her profile and made her the talk of the town.


The Kitale-based nurse was one of those invited to entertain attendees at the World Health Organisation's (WHO) 'Walk the Talk' event in Geneva.


In the video, the Zablon Singers' hit song "Mkono wa Bwana" is playing over the sound system while Robai leads the dancing crew in delighting the crowd of hundreds who are watching the event. The spectators were enthralled by her motions and joined in the dance.

"I was invited by the World Health Organisation to participate in walk the talk health for all. My experience at the event has been great."

Robai, a 22-year-old, garnered immense online fame after her TikTok videos, showcasing her dancing skills to uplift sick children at Kitale Level Four Hospital captivated and amazed viewers. This remarkable feat caught Governor George Natembeya's attention, who congratulated her and offered her an opportunity to work at the hospital upon completing her studies.




In a previous interview, Lukresia expressed her surprise at the unexpected virality of her video. She humbly stated that she was merely pursuing her passion, never anticipating the immense response that would follow, eventually drawing the entire nation's attention.

"It feels nice to be part of that group in society that promotes wonderful things. It fascinates the kids, dancing is good," she said.

In her most recent engagement with the World Health Organization (WHO), Lukresia participated in the 'Walk the Talk' event to emphasize the significance of leading healthy lifestyles, increase awareness about the pursuit of health for all, and commemorate the value of collaboration and partnerships.
