Jamaican reggae artiste Sheldon Campbell, popularly known as Turbulence, will perform at the Jomo Kenyatta International Stadium in Kisumu on Saturday, June 10.
Turbulence will perform at the One Love Cultural Festival, barely two weeks after Richy Spice staged a spectacular show attracting thousands of reggae enthusiasts.
One Love Cultural Festival will be graced by Kenyan performers who will use the platform to showcase their talent and spread messages of love and peace to promote cultural diversity and unity in Kisumu County.
The Real Warrior hitmaker will also participate in several social causes like tree planting and the launch of borehole drilling at Ahero and will also attend a young musicians’ workshop to mentor them.
One Love Cultural Festival Organizer Rita Omollo stated that music can unite people and create positive change.

Addressing Journalists ahead of the One Love Cultural Festival, she noted that the event aims to bring together individuals from diverse communities to celebrate their shared humanity and raise awareness about environmental responsibility.
Further, Omollo stated that the festival will display rich traditional food, drinks and creative markets to celebrate African culture.
“Apart from the live performances, attendees will have a chance to explore the vibrant visual arts display and celebrate the rich cultural heritage of Kisumu County. We are thrilled to bring together the best of reggae music, local talents, and a commitment to environmental sustainability in one dynamic event,” she added.
County Director of Culture and Arts Bruno Aduma said hosting Turbulence and other international artists will help market Kisumu’s rich cultural diversity and promote talent development by exposing local artists to the world.
