The mother of the upcoming genge artist Trio Mio has come out with her mama bear claws defending her son after two men threatened to kill him.
A Twitter user who goes by the name 'the carbon4' tweeted a pic of him and another young man holding a gun and threatening to kill trio Mio for allegedly conning them. They are accusing the rapper of stealing money from their contributions and saying they are not afraid of him and will take him out.
In response to the threats, Ms Irma said that people take jokes too far and that threatening to unalive her son is not a joking matter. She called on the directorate of criminal investigations to look into the matter and take the threats seriously.
"At times, we take jokes too far...but this hii sio funny at all. My son, not long ago, got mugged at gunpoint we are yet to get over the trauma. Then this???@dci_kenya, have you seen this? As a parent, I humbly request for action to be taken against these characters! My heart isn't at peace. May God protect my child!" she said

Ms Irma also highlighted an incident in which Trio Mio was attacked and robbed by unknown men. His phone and other valuables were stolen during the attack.
The robbers recognized and greeted the musician, but before he could lock his car, two of the three thugs were already close to him, one armed with a revolver and the other with a panga.
The rapper said the man with the gun put it against his stomach as they seized his valuables while he froze. He said the criminals also intimidated a nearby security guy who tried to aid him.
"I was ready to give them everything, my shoes and clothes as long as they spared my life. They had cocked the gun and placed it on my stomach. They took my two phones and I gave them the car keys," he narrated.
